Operating Room Technician
at Human Resources in Maryland
Position calls for performing various duty assignments within the operating room and sterile processing department to include decontamination, instruments tray preparation, equipment maintenance and supply. Responsibilities also include scrub assigned rooms, preparing instruments and equipment for cases, maintaining a sterile and safe environment for the patient, preparing cultures for lab, and assist registered nurse in circulating for all surgical procedures. On-call services are not required.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited program or military training program for operating room and central services technicians
• Experience in operating room and sterile processing duties
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
